Getting started

The firmware subsection holds meetings on a weekly basis every Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Firmware holds meetings at the same time as electrical.

To get started check out STMCube or CAN Bus.

Tools that we use

Firmware mainly uses the STMCube suite to write firmware for the microprocessors on the boards that we design. We mainly use STM32 chips which have better performance than Arduino’s and give us more flexibility. We write firmware in C. We use STMCubeIDE version 1.18.1.

Projects in the works

Most of the projects in the works can be found in the active GitHub Repo.
